BSB | Oregon Baseball Drops Series Finale Against #20 Arizona State 7-3

Oregon baseball lost the final game of a three-game set with #20 Arizona State 7-3, and in doing so, lost the series 2-1. RHP RJ Dabovich got the win for the Sun Devils, limiting Oregon to three runs over 5.2 innings. Arizona State then turned to Sam Romero, who blanked the Ducks going 3.2 scoreless innings while striking out four hitters.

The Sun Devils' first four hitters in their lineup torched the Ducks, accounting for seven of their 12 hits, and four RBIs. LF Trevor Hauver led the way for the red hot Sun Devils, going 2-5 and launching his eighth home run of the season.

Oregon's starter Brett Walker received the loss, lasting only 3 innings, giving up four runs. Oregon's bullpen, however, pitched relatively well, lasting 6 innings and only giving up three runs.

Up next, Oregon travels to Provo, Utah for two midweek matchups with BYU and Utah Valley on Tuesday and Wednesday. The first pitch between Oregon and BYU will be on Tuesday, at 5:00 PM.
