The Oregon Ducks took the series from the Washington Huskies in another hard-fought contest. Oregon starter Matt Mercer pitched seven shutout innings allowing six hits and earning seven strikeouts. The lone run of the game came in the first inning after a Gabe Matthews RBI (11)--his fourth of the series--on a double (5) to left field. The Ducks improve to their overall record to 15-5 (4-1).The series concludes tomorrow afternoon (2 PM) at PK Park where the Ducks will look for a sweep.
