On March 16th, local college rockers Verb8im joined us on Live Sessions. The group has quickly become one of the most popular and influential acts in the Eugene college music scene. Members Will, Tripp, Lucas and Aidan create a sound that combines elements of Pop Rock, Shoegaze and even Reggae to create a progressive smoothie of Alternative Rock excellence. Check out their music here.

This coming Month, they will be opening for Still Woozy and Goth Babe at the Over & Out Festival on May 16th presented by Mammoth Northwest, Kesey Enterprises, UO Music Industry Collective and KWVA. Tickets are available at thecuthbert.com

(Live Sessions is a show on KWVA every Sunday from 4pm-6pm during Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Bands and artists from Eugene and beyond are invited to perform LIVE as we turn our station into a DIY recording studio. Shows are often hosted by KWVA DJs, who interview the artists on-air. Live Sessions is produced and scheduled by the KWVA production department and it's hard-working assistants, with additional help from the KWVA Music department.)
