On January 12th, local Emo Rock Band Stella joined us live in the studio to play songs from their new EP A Streetcar Name Desire, which released on December 13th, 2024. The group consists of Joe on guitar and vocals, Logan on backing vocals and bass, and Joey on Drums and backing vocals. Self-described as an "emotional support group" their sound is influenced by bands like Jejune and Title Fight.

Stella plans to release new music in the future, as well as possibly releasing their KWVA performance as a B-side on a physical vinyl release.

This live session was hosted by DJ Drop D (Salem) with additional production assistance from Schaeffer, Clover, and Miles, who used Salem's vintage camcorder for additional footage. Film pictures and Live Session produced by DJ Taco Supreme.

(Live Sessions is a show on KWVA every Sunday from 4pm-6pm during Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Bands and artists from Eugene and beyond are invited to perform LIVE as we turn our station into a DIY recording studio. Shows are often hosted by KWVA DJs, who interview the artists on-air.
