On April 27th, Neo-Soul-Acid Jazz-Funk band Natsukashii Soul performed on KWVA’s Sunday Live Sessions. The group is known for their elegant and funky originals and covers of popular jazz and funk standards. The band consists of Autumn Rose on vocals, Vincent Panero on keys & guitar, Frank Visconti on trumpet, Greg McKelvey on bass, and Chris Jackson on drums. Together, the group has fostered a local fanbase in Eugene and beyond! More information can be found at their website.

(Live Sessions is a show on KWVA every Sunday from 4pm-6pm during Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Bands and artists from Eugene and beyond are invited to perform LIVE as we turn our station into a DIY recording studio. Shows are often hosted by KWVA DJs, who interview the artists on-air. Live Sessions is produced and scheduled by the KWVA production department and it's hard-working assistants, with additional help from the KWVA Music department.)
