Bonnie Donaville | Sunday Live Sessions Recap

Music Video | Full Performance + Interview

Friend of the station Bonnie Donaville stopped by the station to perform some of her original music on KWVA's Sunday Live Sessions. Her songs are intimate and full of sorrow, and often about people and experiences from her own life. This differs from her other project, Dogs By Desgn. (Check out this article about them on KWVA's music blog here.

I interviewed Bonnie on a gloomy Fall day. In between songs, we talked about dream collaborations and other random stuff. Bonnie is good friends with DJ Housewife and former DJ and KWVA Office Assistant DJ Humbug. Special thanks to Schaefer, for bringing in a cool light to use for the video!

(Live Sessions is a show on KWVA every Sunday from 4pm-6pm during Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Bands and artists from Eugene and beyond are invited to perform LIVE as we turn our station into a DIY recording studio. Shows are often hosted by KWVA DJs, who interview the artists on-air. Live Sessions is produced and scheduled by the KWVA production department and it's hard-working assistants, with additional help from the KWVA Music department.)
