While UO student incidental fees fund the major portion of KWVA’s budget, we also rely on contributions from the community to help keep our music programs, sporting events, public affairs shows and news broadcasts on the air live 24/7, 365 days a year. Business Sponsorship

Large and small businesses in Eugene/Springfield and across the nation can benefit by sponsoring KWVA. We accept sponsorship of radio programs, the station in general and for station events. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has differentiated commercial and non-commercial radio stations. As KWVA is a non-commercial radio station, we cannot run advertisements, but we can accept sponsorship. All sponsorships are tax deductible.

KWVA offers a rare, unrivalled mix of music that can’t be found any place else. Because of our diversity in programming, sponsorship on KWVA can reach any particular audience you’re aiming for. If you’d like to learn more about sponsoring a program, contact the KWVA Marketing Director.

Sponsor The Station

Your business can sponsor the station and reach the growing Eugene/Springfield community, and particularly the University of Oregon community. General sponsorship of the station starts at $15 per each 30-second announcement and you can select dates and times.

Sponsor An Event

KWVA produces numerous events throughout the year including a music swap, bowling parties and the KWVA birthday party, to name a few. You can help support these events through cash, product or service donations. Sponsorship of KWVA events allows your business to reach an audience beyond the listeners to those interacting with the station. Your sponsorship can include name placement, banners, announcements of recognitions and more. Contact the KWVA Marketing Director for more information.

Donate Music

KWVA has an ever-growing library, but we don’t have everything. If you have some music lying around that you don’t listen to anymore, donate it to us! Even if you don’t think it is air-worthy, we might have someone interested in playing it. Or, if we already have it, your donation could help us raise funds at our annual music swap. Your donated music is tax deductible. If you would like to donate music, contact the KWVA General Manager to discuss details.

Donate Money

KWVA’s annual operating budget comes primarily from student incidental fees. With increasing costs for students to attend college, your donation can help offset the cost of operating KWVA, and maybe help with a big project now and then too. All donations are tax deductible. You can donate online. Enter “KWVA” in the “Other” category under “Designation” and the amount you want to donate.
