This week at the station, we’re excited to introduce the new KWVA Music Blog.

Each week, we’ll be giving you a heads up on what you should look out for in the current music scene. This means posting clips of live sessions with artists, DJ interviews, album reviews, concert info, and more. Whether it be a stellar new album we think you need to hear or a local show that’s going to be rad, new posts will be out every day of the week to keep you in the know.

All in all, the KWVA Music Blog will keep an ear close to the ground so you can spend your time listening to the good stuff.

KWVA Sports Wins National Award

KWVA Sports received the honor for best sports play-by-play broadcasting Saturday night at the 2014 National Student Production Awards, presented by College Broadcasters, Incorporated. The winning clip features current sports director Ryan Rouillard and former sports director Joey McMurry on the call of Oregon softball vs Washington on March 30, 2014.
