Coming off a spring scrimmage showcased in Portland over the weekend, Oregon football got back to work with practice on Tuesday with plenty still to be done. Head coach Mario Cristobal saw strides beginning to be made towards a more physical culture in the team’s play, with improvement still needed in the team’s discipline after seeing plenty of flags thrown over the weekend. After a tough start to the NCAA Indoor National Championships, Oregon had a strong finish and gained momentum that they hope will carry over to the outdoor season. Head Coach Robert Johnson, Javelin Thrower Jackson VanVuren, and Distance Runner Samantha Nadel all share their excitement for the first competitive meet of the outdoor season. The Pepsi Invitational is headlined by: Oregon, Washington, Washington State, and BYU. Oregon will host the Pepsi Invitational this Saturday at Hayward Field.
