AUDIO: No. 3 Oregon Women’s Basketball Hosts No. 18 Syracuse in Home Opener

Following its season opening beatdown of Alaska Fairbanks on Tuesday, No. 3 Oregon women’s basketball returns to Eugene and Matthew Knight Arena for its 2018-2019 home opener against No. 18 Syracuse on Saturday. Along with the buzz surrounding local Ducks’ fans chance to see their team play, Oregon will be joined by a guest coach in two-time New York Times Bestselling author and Twitter sensation Shea Serrano. The Ducks may need all the help they can get, with the Orange returning all five starters from last year when the team lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as a No. 8 seed. STORY: Ducks’ Linebacker Depth to Be Tested Against Utah

Oregon football will attempt to neutralize the Pac-12 conferences’ second-leading rushing attack in Utah on Saturday without the help of the injured Kaulana Apelu and Issac Slade-Matautia.
