STORY: Oregon Offense Falls Short In 4-2 Loss

By Kent Williams

In game 3 of a four-game series, Seattle University came out on top over the Ducks, 4-2. While still early in the season, Oregon’s offense was never able to string together a rally, despite two early runs, one of which scored off a balk. Starter Brett Walker pitched 3 innings, giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 2 and walking 1. Coach Wasikowski said after the game that was the plan from the start, as he wanted to limit Walker to around 50 pitches to keep him healthy.

Oregon will try and take the series tomorrow at PK Park, playing Seattle with first pitch scheduled for 12 pm PST.
