MBB | Oregon Dominates Omaha Nebraska 84-61 to Start Four Game Home Stretch

The Oregon men’s basketball team cruised past Omaha Nebraska 84-61 to start a four game home stretch. The Ducks used their front court to dominate the Mavericks, as Kenny Wooten and Bol Bol carried the way. Kenny Wooten led the team with 20 points on 9-12 shooting. Bol was close behind with his fourth career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Behind those two, Oregon out-rebounded Omaha 36-13.  Oregon’s defense was dominant throughout, holding the Mavericks to 42% shooting. Oregon used a new starting lineup in this game, as Will Richardson and Abu Kigab each got their first career start in replacement of Ehab Amin and Paul White. 10 different Oregon players saw the court in this game, nine of which played over 10 minutes. Freshman Louis King made his debut in this game. The five-star freshman looked impressive for the Ducks, finishing with 11 points on 4-6 shooting in just 16 minutes. Also for the Ducks, Victor Bailey had a season high 16 points and a career high 6 rebounds. Oregon will be back in action on December 12th at 7:00 PM as they take on San Diego at Matthew Knight Arena.
