VB | Sloppy Oregon Volleyball Avenges Arizona State Loss in Sweep

No. 16 Oregon Volleyball fought their way to a sweep against Arizona State in Tempe on Friday, Oct 26, avenging their sweep at the Sun Devils’ hands late in September. While the Ducks struggled to get senior Lindsey Vander Weide and junior Willow Johnson into a rhythm, junior middle blocker Ronika Stone ignited UO with 15 kills on a .500 hitting percentage. In the back row, freshman libero Brooke Nuneviller put up 18 digs to assist a blocking unit that tallied 9 roofs. Oregon held Arizona State to a .073 hitting percentage on the night. The win moves Oregon to 14-7 on the year (7-4 Pac-12) ahead of their Sunday morning bout against the no. 23 Arizona Wildcats at 11 AM.
