AUDIO: No Time for Celebration as No. 12 Oregon Football Preps for No. 25 Washington State

No. 12 Oregon (5-1, 2-1) has little time to soak in their cathartic victory over then No. 7 Washington in overtime as the Ducks’ next challenge is on deck with No. 25 Washington State (5-1, 2-1) this Saturday. The matchup will make it the first time in program history that Oregon has played four straight ranked opponents while being ranked themselves. The 30-27 drama-filled win over the rivaled Huskies snapped the Ducks two-game losing streak in the series, but another streak awaits them after dropping their last three contests with the Cougars. As the highest-ranked team in the Pac-12, Oregon appears to be in the driver’s seat heading towards Santa Clara, California for the conference championship game; however, the Ducks still need help in the form of another Pac-12 loss for Stanford, and another loss for Oregon would complicate its path immensely. And just for added drama, Saturday’s meeting with the Cougars will be the first time ESPN’s GameDay will be on-campus in Pullman to preview the game. Ahead of the game, head coach Mario Cristobal sat down with the media for his weekly press conference. Listen to the full interview below.
