AUDIO: No. 19 Oregon Football Attempts to Move Past Heartbreak

Following its crushing overtime defeat the previous Saturday at the hands of No. 7 Stanford, No. 19 Oregon football has no time to dwell on the past as they leave the safety of Autzen Stadium this week and travel to meet California (3-0). Though the memory of the collapse in the final minute by the Ducks, which was instigated by CJ Verdell’s fumble, remains, head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff will try and lead the team to a strong response. The loss came with plenty of positives, none more apparent than quarteback Justin Herbert’s impressive performance, and wide receiver Dillon Mitchell’s historic night. But with its record now at 3-1 on the year, and owning a 0-1 mark in Pac-12 play, Oregon can’t afford any more moral victories. Listen below as Cristobal addressed the media Monday morning as the Ducks turn their attention to another conference foe in Cal.
