VB | Oregon Opens Conference Play with a Dominant Civil War Victory

No. 12 Oregon Volleyball entered Thursday’s PAC-12 opener riding momentum from a strong 7-3 non-conference slate. Oregon stayed hot in 2018’s first edition of the Civil War, defeating Oregon State in four sets, 25-12, 23-25, 25-14, 25-15. Over 4000 fans watched an impressive Oregon offense shut down one of the PAC-12’s best defenses. Oregon was led by good performances from senior August Raskie (50 assists and five kills), junior Ronika Stone (13 kills) and senior Lindsey Vander Weide (14 kills). The Ducks are next tested on Sunday afternoon, as Oregon hosts No. 22 Washington State.
