AUDIO: Oregon Football Defense Ready for Physical, Balanced Stanford Attack

Both of Oregon football’s units are expecting their toughest test of the season thus far when No. 7 Stanford comes to Eugene on Saturday. Just a year ago, the Oregon defense struggled to hold back a Cardinal offense lead by Bryce Love and a group of tall, dangerous receivers in the most lopsided meeting in the two team’s illustrious history. This year, David Shaw’s team enters with a more balanced attack, still led by Love on the ground and one of the country’s most prolific wideouts in J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Listen below as head coach Mario Cristobal, co-defensive coordinator Joe Salave’a and his players break down what they must do to get the better of the Cardinal this time around.
