Oregon State defeated Oregon by a score of 10-0 behind 19 hits. The loss was Oregon’s fifth of the year against Oregon State, marking the Ducks’ second consecutive season without a victory over their rivals. The Beavers received hits from all nine of their starters, including Nick Madrigal, who added three hits, and Michael Gretler, who hit his fifth home run of the season. After taking two of three from the USC Trojans, the Ducks have lost four of five games and find themselves firmly out of tournament contention. Oregon hosts a three-game set against Utah, starting with a 6 PM first pitch on Friday night.
