AUDIO: Oregon Track and Field Readies to Defend PAC-12 Crown

Following one last final home meet at Historic Hayward Field, Oregon Track and Field is shifting their focus to the PAC-12 championships. Both Kylee O’Connor and Austin Torres kicked off the PAC-12 Championships this previous weekend for the Ducks with two sixth place finishes in the Mutli-Event Championships. Head Coach Robert Johnson complimented his two athletes and said its a great start heading into this weekends meet. “Anytime we can go to a championship setting and put points on the board for the team, that’s always a plus.” The Ducks will be sending the rest of their track and field athletes down to Stanford this weekend to defend their PAC-12 crown. Oregon will be seeking their 10th consecutive sweep of the conference team titles, and the Oregon men are seeking their 12th straight PAC-12 Championship.
