Entering their third spring practice on Saturday morning, the Ducks took the field in pads for the first time. Though the coaching staff has already gotten their first looks at this year’s squad, Saturday’s padded practice represented the first opportunity for them to see how far they’ve come in the areas of effort and toughness from a year ago. When meeting with the media prior to practice, head coach Mario Cristobal stressed the importance of these days in further developing the disciplined yet aggressive culture that Oregon is searching for in 2018.
