No. 6 Oregon softball won a pair of 5-0 games on Friday in Tallahassee, Florida as part of the Unconquered Invitational — the first against No. 13 Florida State and the second against unranked Florida Gulf Coast. Miranda Elish and Megan Kleist each threw complete game shutouts on Friday. Kleist struck out 15 batters, which is one off her career-high total. The Ducks utilized early home runs in each game. Gwen Svekis and Mary Iakopo each homered in the second inning of the first game while Svekis connected for another in the first inning of game two. Oregon is now 16-3 on the season and has won six-straight games. The Ducks play two more times tomorrow against Hofstra and Florida Gulf Coast.
