The Oregon Women’s basketball team took on #18 Arizona State Sunday afternoon, defeating them by a score of 74-64. The Ducks rebounded from their tough shooting night against Arizona Friday night, by going 66% from the field, and 42% beyond the arc. Sabrina Ionescu lead the Oregon squad with 26 points on 11-15 shooting, followed by Ruthy Hebard with 20 points on a perfect 9-9 from the field. Though the offense was impressive, the defense stood out as well, especially in the third quarter where the Ducks would outscore the Sun Devils 21-5. Oregon will travel up to Corvallis this Friday, where they will take on their in-state rivals at 8 pm in the civil war.
