After then-head coach Willie Taggart left Eugene for Tallahasse, Florida and the Seminoles of Florida State, the Ducks had a coaching vacancy. Oregon players made their voices heard early and often throughout Athletic Director Rob Mullens’ hiring process. The team took to Twitter to express their appreciation for the then-offensive line coach Mario Cristobal.
