FB: Washington Drops 38 Unanswered Points, Crushes Ducks

Washington defeated Oregon 38-3 on Saturday, getting a start to their own streak with a second consecutive dominating victory. The Ducks grabbed an early 3-0 lead, but Washington responded by outscoring Oregon 38-0 the rest of the way. After trading field goals, Washington broke open the game with a 64-yard punt return touchdown by Dante Pettis, breaking the NCAA record with nine career punt return touchdowns. Big plays gashed the Ducks, with four other touchdowns going for 31, 47, 34 and 58 yards respectively. The loss pushed the Ducks to 5-5 on the season, and 2-5 in conference play. The next time the Ducks hit the field will be on November 18th at home against Arizona.
