VB: Oregon escapes Washington with five-set victory over WSU

Oregon escaped Pullman with a five-set victory over Washington State (22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 17-25, 15-13). Leading the way once again was outside hitter Taylor Agost, totaling 24 kills on 63 attacks, along with seven digs. Opposite-side hitter Willow Johnson struggled for much of the match, but came alive in the fifth set, tallying six kills in the final frame. Defensively, Lindsey Vander-Weide led the way with 21 digs. Oregon now stands 4-4 in conference play and 11-5 overall. The Ducks return home for a weekend series against the Arizona schools next week.
