BSB: Ducks Lose Close Game to OSU

Oregon fell Friday night to Oregon State, 5-4, in Game two of the Civil War. Defense and accuracy was hard to find for the Ducks as they walked seven batters and committed four errors. David Peterson did not have his best stuff tonight as he only went five innings, surrendering four hits, four walks, and four runs. Despite their pitching and defense being off, the Oregon offense produced four runs, which gave them the lead two different times in the game. The game ended with a Ryne Nelson strikeout with the bases loaded. The Ducks return tomorrow at 7 PM as they look to take the series finale.
