SB| Oregon Wins Both Games of the Doubleheader Against #2 Florida State

The Ducks had a lot to prove coming into Saturday’s doubleheader against #2 Florida State. The offense has been underwhelming as of late, but that all changed when the Ducks run-ruled the Seminoles in game one, winning 11-0 in five innings. The Ducks recorded 11 hits and only giving up two in the most explosive offensive game of the season. Sophomore pitcher Megan Kleist proved why she is one of the best in the nation, striking out six and only walking one in the complete-game effort.

Game two was a little tamer offensively; however, the Ducks still managed to pull away with a sixth-inning rally that put them up 3-1. Freshman pitcher Maggie Balint held the Seminoles to only three hits and led the Ducks to a series win, the first series loss Florida State has suffered all season. Game three is set for 5 P.M. on Sunday at Jane Sanders Stadium.
