The Oregon Men’s Basketball Team Breaks School Single Game Points Record , En Route to 128-59 Victory Over Savannah State

Oregon’s school record for most points scored in a single game dated back to 1970, when Oregon scored 121 against Portland. That would be until Saturday afternoon when Oregon dropped 128 against Savannah State at Matthew Knight Arena, on the way to a 69 point victory. Tyler Dorsey had a game high 29 points, and Dillon Brooks added 22. Records continued to be in danger of standing, as Payton Pritchard finished with 13 assists, tying the Matthew Knight Arena record for assists in a single game. Oregon was able to hold Savannah State (which lead the nation in 3-pointers made, with 144) to just 25.0% shooting for the game, including holding the Tigers to 11-50 from downtown. Oregon will have an entire week off before taking on Alabama on December 11th at 3pm, at Matthew Knight Arena.
