Oregon Advances to Another Super Regional After Dominant Weekend

The Oregon Ducks beat the Baylor Lady Bears by a score of 8-1 at Jane Sanders Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Cheridan Hawkins was spectacular again from the circle, tossing four-and-two-thirds scoreless innings before freshman Megan Kleist shut the door on the Bears. Nikki Udria led the way on the offensive side, launching her 17th home run of the 2016 campaign while driving in three runs. Alyssa Gillepsie and Jenna Lilley also starred offensively, each tallying three hits on the afternoon. With the win, the Ducks advanced to their seventh-consecutive Super Regional appearance and they will face Pac-12 foe UCLA next weekend in Eugene.
