Howe Field has been almost completely demolished, but construction on Jane Sanders Stadium is now underway after a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning. University of Oregon alum Robert Sanders donated over $16 million towards a new stadium in the name of his late wife Jane. Oregon Athletic Director Rob Mullens, Head Coach Mike White, Janelle Lindvall, and Project Coordinator from contractor Howard S. Wright, Dave Quivey, spoke to the media at the event.
