After seemingly every October weekend was filled to the brim with Oregon athletic contests in Eugene, this weekend is quite the opposite. The only contest in town is the women’s basketball regular season opener Saturday night against Cal State-Bakersfield at 7:00 (follow @KWVAsports for updates).

Despite the absence of events, Friday Night Spotlight will be jam packed tonight. Starting at 7:00, Travis Teich, Nick Rogers and Andrew Murray have 3 hours of exciting sports talk, including reviewing what went wrong for Oregon football last night.
